Adele Provides Health Update During Las Vegas Performance
Adele Updates Fans on Health After Slow Movement During Las Vegas Performance
Adele gave fans an update on her health this weekend after appearing to move at a slower-than-usual pace during one of her Las Vegas performances. The 15-time Grammy winner took the stage on New Year’s Eve as part of her “Weekends with Adele” residency, where she acknowledged having a slight mobility issue due to sciatica.
In a video obtained by the Daily Star, Adele can be seen distributing T-shirts to concertgoers and mentioning her struggle with sciatica, a condition that causes pain along the sciatic nerve. Symptoms include a constant burning sensation and shooting pain that originates in the lower back.
This isn’t the first time Adele has mentioned back issues, revealing in a 2021 interview that she has been in pain for half of her life. Despite her health concerns, Adele has received praise for her residency show, which opened in November after a last-minute postponement lasting about 10 months.
Critics and fans have lauded Adele for her spectacular performance, with Billboard calling it “utterly and breathlessly spectacular” and the Los Angeles Times praising her for striking “an exquisite balance of personal storytelling and Las Vegas glitz.” Despite her health challenges, Adele continues to captivate audiences with her talent and resilience.
