Welcome to VegasNewsWire!
We love Vegas. Well, I kind of really love Vegas. My grandparents and aunts and uncles, but especially my grandfather, loooooved Vegas. Although he lived in Dallas, he was a regular at the Riveria during the 1970s and 1980s, and had a whole lot of fun there. They knew him by name when he walked in. Over time, I’ll share some more stories about him here.
I was with him on his last trip in 1991, pushing him in his wheelchair, and he left me a gift that is both a blessing and a curse: he taught me how to play craps.
Over the years, I’ve been to Vegas a lot, for work and for fun. I love the city and how its grown, and there’s so much to see and do that it’s hard to contain in just one blog. But that’s what we’re going to attempt to do! We’ll look back at photos from Vintage Vegas, and will keep you apprised of super-modern activities such as The Sphere.
So grab your shot glass, fill it up, and let’s go exploring.

We’d love to hear from you along the way! Feel free to email us information at tips@vegasnewswire.com.
Thanks for being here!
