AECOM selected for Las Vegas Strip arena project

Plans Revealed for Sports Arena and Luxury Resort Development on North Strip in Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Strip is set to get a major upgrade with the development of a new sports arena and luxury resort on a 27-acre site. The project, led by LVXP, has selected AECOM to provide architectural and engineering services, marking a significant step forward in the development process.

The site, located between Fontainebleau Las Vegas and SAHARA Las Vegas, was previously intended for the All-Net Arena project, which was put on hold due to investor commitments. Now, with CEO James R. Frasure Jr. at the helm, along with construction expert Nick Tomasino and architect Paul Steelman, the project is back on track.

LVXP’s vision for the site includes an NBA-ready arena surrounded by a luxury resort and casino, all designed to enhance the guest experience and set a new standard for entertainment venues. With AECOM’s track record of designing over 70 arenas in the U.S., including 20 professional sports and entertainment venues, the project is in good hands.

The announcement of AECOM’s involvement comes after LVXP’s initial reveal of their plans for the site, generating excitement for the future of the project. With experts like Bill Hanway and Dan Meis leading the design, the new arena and resort are sure to become a landmark destination on the Las Vegas Strip.

In addition to this project, another arena development near the M Resort is also in the works, with hopes of attracting an NBA team to the area. With both projects aiming to redefine the entertainment landscape in Las Vegas, the city is poised for a major transformation in the coming years.
