A year after his family made headlines for calling 911 to report a 10-foot-tall alien in their Las Vegas backyard, 17-year-old Angel Kenmore is speaking out and standing by his story.

According to Angel, he and his family were in their yard on the night of April 30, 2023, when a bright light crashed into the ground, revealing a “giant creature” that he described as tall and thin, between 8 and 10 feet in height.

The family’s 911 call, in which they expressed genuine fear, was captured on police body camera footage, and multiple family members corroborated the story to officers. Despite facing ridicule and skepticism, the Kenmore family went public with their account, even creating drawings of the alleged alien.

Now, almost a year later, Angel is reiterating his claims, insisting that he was left “paralysed by fear” during the encounter. While he initially believed the creature was an alien, he now describes it as a “demon.”

Despite facing criticism and mockery, Angel maintains that he is not seeking fame or financial gain from his story, emphasizing the traumatic nature of the experience.

While the American Meteor Society believes the bright light was likely a meteor, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department closed the case after initially investigating the family’s claims.
