Atomic Golf: A New Sports-Entertainment Venue Making Waves in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is known for its vibrant entertainment scene, and Atomic Golf is the latest addition to the city’s lineup of sports-entertainment venues. Located north of the Strat, with one foot in the Las Vegas Strip and one foot in downtown, Atomic Golf offers a unique experience that combines golf, gaming, and entertainment.

Since its grand opening last month, Atomic Golf has already become a huge hit. The venue spans over 99,000 square feet and features four floors of gaming, more than 100 golf bays, a putting district with a projection map base, and even golf ball cannons. But Atomic Golf is more than just a place to hit golf balls, according to Derek Austin, the director of facilities. The venue also offers sleek lounge spaces, massive TVs broadcasting the latest sports, and a tap room serving Las Vegas-brewed beers.

Atomic Golf is just one of many sports-entertainment complexes making Las Vegas their home. Swingers, a “crazy golf club,” is set to open a flagship location at Mandalay Bay in the fall, offering five courses, food and beverage options, and an English country house theme. Additionally, Electric Pickle, a sports and entertainment venue, is slated to open at The Bend on Sunset Road and Durango Drive, catering to the demand for outdoor entertainment options and pickleball courts.

PopStroke, a minigolf course experience, will debut at Town Square on Las Vegas Boulevard on April 22, offering two 18-hole courses, open-air dining, a beer garden, and more. The collision of sports and entertainment in Las Vegas comes as no surprise, as the city has recently been dubbed the “Sports Capital of the World” due to its array of sports teams and events.

With the success of venues like Top Golf, the sports-entertainment experience is one that continues to evolve and attract visitors from around the world. Atomic Golf aims to be a standout in this competitive landscape, offering a variety of experiences for guests to enjoy. As Austin puts it, “We chose Las Vegas for a reason. We want people to remember why Las Vegas was No. 1.”
