Event Changes and Cancellations

Tehama County Food Share is in need of shelf-stable milk donations to help supplement their food pantries this fall. Donations of powdered or boxed milk, whether bovine, soy, or nut-based, can be brought to Tehama County Together at 345 Hickory St., Suite 2, Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 3 PM. In other news, the 2nd Annual Corning 500 Boxcar Races are coming up on June 4th during the Tuesday Night Market in Downtown Corning. Children ages 2 to 10 are invited to enter their original creations in the race. This year, trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group, as well as a trophy for the Overall Most Creative boxcar. Registration is free and can be done online at https://corningrecreation.recdesk.com/Community/program.

Additionally, various events are happening throughout the week in Red Bluff, Corning, Cottonwood, and other areas of Tehama County. From Celebrate Recovery and Senior Aerobics classes to City Council meetings and Farmers Markets, there is something for everyone to enjoy and participate in. Whether you’re interested in square dancing, AA meetings, or board game nights, there is a wide range of activities to choose from.
