Public Service Career Fair at Las Vegas Convention Center (KLAS) – May 14
LAS VEGAS – Calling all job seekers! A public service career fair is coming to the Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall on Tuesday, May 14th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore new career opportunities and speak with recruiters from 30 local government offices.
Representatives from various government agencies will be present, including Clark County, Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and many more. The event will provide attendees with the chance to meet face-to-face with recruiters, learn about the application and hiring process for government jobs, and discover the benefits of working in the public sector.
The event is free to attend, and parking is also free at the Convention Center. Interested individuals can register in advance at https://bit.ly/careerfair51424, or walk-ins are welcome.
Clark County Commission Chairman Tick Segerblom emphasized the unique opportunity this career fair presents, stating, “If you are interested in working for Clark County or another government agency in Southern Nevada, this is a great opportunity to learn about career opportunities within these organizations and the hiring process.”
To further assist job seekers, the event will feature a series of “Career Talks” sessions throughout the day. These sessions will cover topics such as navigating the job market, transferable skills for public service, reviewing job postings, creating an effective LinkedIn profile, and mastering job interviews using the S.T.A.R. method.
